Chop all the ingredients up, chuck in the slow cooker and cook for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, pop all the ingredients in a blender (or use a hand blender) and there you have it! A base for so many different dishes with minimal effort and time, and at a low cost! Much healthier than a jar of sauce.
I use this for spaghetti, adding Quorn mince into the slow cooker for the last half hour, and also use this to make lasagne.
Freeze some. Do whatever you wish, but it’s so handy to come back to and unbeknown to my little one - she’s eating loads more veg :)
